Humboldt Day 2020

Following the nice tradition of the Darwin Day (in mid-February), the Centre for Ecological Research launches the series of Humboldt Days, every year on the birthday of the great German scientist, Alexander von Humboldt.

This year we cannot follow his noble tradition of travelling to exotic places, not even to Tihany, so we make it on ZOOM.
The first day is a light evening lecture by Professor János Podani (ELTE), the second day is a colourful block of eight short talks in a time slot of roughly 2 hours. We will have five guest speakers from WasserCluster Lunz, Austria.
