Brief description of the main scopes: 

1. Assessment of the environmental significance of anthropogenic pollution in surface waters based on the quality and load of bottom sediments with micropollutants
2. Evaluation of the bioavailability to- and bioaccumulation of microcotaminants present in the water- and sediment compartment in planktonic organisms and fish
3. The physiological effects assessment of persistent contaminants to aquatic biota
4. Evaluation of the toxicity risks of cyanobacterial blooms by standard ecotoxicity assays
5. Identification of cyanobacterial bioactive compounds and screening their biological activity towards planktonic organisms and fish
